She posted on X - formerly known as social media: "Needs a few more games on Gladiators I think, what do you think? What would you bring back? #Gladiators."

Sir Matthew Pinsent participated in the celebrity version of the gameshow back in 1996.

He replied: "Is pendulum in there? That was immense."

Sharron replied that she has not yet seen that particular challenge, as she noted it was "an expensive game to build & rig."

However, he then declared that it was the only 'genuinely scary' challenge of the games that he partook in.

Then one fan simply tweeted: "Pyramid."

And the former star loved the game, however she said that it was considered to be the "most dangerous" challenge.

Aside from the pendulum and pyramid challenges, another familiar element of the show has also been missing from the new reboot.

One fan noted that the cheerleaders were not a part of the new weekend primetime show.

And Sharron implied that this was something she missed as she also suggested a way to incorporate that element in a changing society.

She put: "Could have a mixed sex dance group i think would be a fun addition especially for the crowd as long reset between games."

Fans have previously called for the return of the infamous Pyramid challenge.

In the Nineties heyday, the Pyramid game both delighted and terrified fans in equal measure.
