Gladiators' Legend was accused of 'cheating' after the Gauntlet challenge was halted.
Bradley Walsh and his son Barney fronted the latest quarter-final instalment of the physical game show.
Viper, Legend, Phantom and Giant all tried to stop the competitors to run the infamous Gauntlet challenge.
Red team competitor Jake previously set a show record as he outran the Gladiators in the four protected zones in an incredible nine seconds.
Before the game started Viper and Jake had to be separated as the Gladiator wanted revenge and the fired up contestant had to be calmed down.
However, as he eventually started his quarter-final round all hell broke loose as the game was halted after Legend broke a rule.
Jake made it into the third zone, but Legend still continued to push the aspiring athlete back.
Eventually he still managed to complete the challenge quickly, but speaking to The Chase host after, he was absolutely fuming.
The competitor raged: "I did it in nine seconds last time, I blame Legend for this one.
"He had to cheat to beat me, are you kidding?"
Legend then stormed over to the camera area as Bradley then called on the referee to give his official verdict.
Mark Clattenburg confirmed: "When Jake left Legend's zone, Legend carried on to fight Jake, so therefore..."
But he couldn't finish the sentence as Legend interjected: "The entire gauntlet is my zone, that's what you told me!"
The Gladiator continued: "I've been told I can go [anywhere], I've got free roll," as he received a resounding round of boo's from the jeering audience.
But the referee wasn't having any of it as he argued back.
"Legend. You've lost twice, better luck next time!"
Bradley Walsh then couldn't help but insert his own dig as he ordered: "Back in line Legend," before the second round was due to begin.
