Amanda, 51, was thought to be considering legal advice amid the alleged fiery clashes with Giovanni backstage on the show.
A source said to the Mail today: "The whole thing was baffling but when Amanda contacted the BBC, she wanted some answers.
"But she hasn’t followed it through and the matter is now closed. Amanda said she left for a medical reason at the time, but that was not PTSD.

She quit the show in October citing medical reasons — with a source revealing she had been diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
It comes after her time with 33-year-old Giovanni, who is regarded as a “perfectionist”, was blighted by a series of rows.
Before she left on October 21, the couple’s live performances were greeted positively by the judges and the viewing public, and Amanda was regarded as one of the favourites for the Glitterball Trophy.
At the time, it was reported they initially clashed over an intense training schedule, with Amanda struggling with the Italian’s “aggressive training style and attitude”.
A source said Amanda met producers to tell them she was finding the rehearsal process difficult.
She did not go onto return to the show's final which sees previously eliminated stars return to the dancefloor for one final performance.
