CELEBRITY Big Brother host Will Best has revealed the 'real' reason they couldn't extend Sharon Osbourne's stay.
Sharon, 71, left the Celebrity Big Brother house this week after signing up as the show's first-ever lodger.
And in last night's Late and Live Will, 39, joked about why bosses couldn't keep her on the show.
He told the audience: "We couldn't afford her."
It's no surprise CBB bosses were reluctant to pay Sharon more after she earned a reported £500k for her short stint in the house.
Before the series kicked off it was revealed the show had managed to lock Sharon down for up to five days for the eye-watering fee but her price for the full three weeks was out of the question.

A source said: “Bosses did all they could to get Sharon and finally reached a deal she’s happy with.
“Sharon will inject enough drama but without her original price tag that was just not feasible.
“Producers cannot wait to see her reunite with Louis and know that it will be TV gold.”
And it's fair to say they got their money's worth with Sharon's many stories about her long career in showbiz.
