The duo were joined in the studio by Paul Potts, who was the first ever winner of Britain's Got Talent back in 2007.

Paul's audition has gone down in pop culture history and since winning the show, he has released six albums and had a film made about his life.

Now Paul is heading back out on tour and spoke to Sally and Ben about it as well as his big break all those years ago.

When Ben asked how he felt about seeing the audition clip, Paul joked: "It makes me feel old, and my wife tells for the first time in more than 20 years of marriage I'm right."

He then recalled how he almost didn't enter the ITV competition, saying: "I flipped a coin because I'd filled in the application form and I caught my reflection in the laptop and thought 'why would anyone choose you? you do the wrong kind of music, you're too old - I was in my mid-30s then God knows what would happen now - and you've got such a great face for radio, why would they choose you?'

"It was the night before the entries shut and so I flipped a coin and if it landed on heads I'll enter if lands on tails I won't and thankfully it did land on heads."

As Paul spoke, he looked like he had barely aged since the audition - aside from a little bit of grey around the front of his hairline.

Paul had sang opera classic Nessun dorma at his audition and he said: "I thought I'd failed as I had too much tension at the end and the note cracked a bit.

"I thought 'Oh God I've messed it up' as that's the note everyone's waiting for but it turned out to be the crossroads of my life."

Last year, Paul opened up to The Sun about how things work backstage at BGT.

He said: "Acts have discussions with the producers, and they will guide you [picking a song and the type of performance] because often you aren’t armed to make that decision.

“The producers have got to build the shape of the show – it’s an entertainment show as well as a competition. You might not always get your way."
