ALEX Jones has announced she's taking a break from The One Show in an emotional message to fans.
The 47-year-old Welsh presenter took to social media to break the news to her 353,000 followers.
Alex shared a snap from behind-the-scenes of The One Show for the announcement.
She wrote: "The face of a woman who is off on holiday......."
The mum-of-three added: "Thank you for watching this week and especially for all the lovely comments about last night's One Big Thank you.
"The team is the best at finding the great stories. It was an emotional one."

Jermaine Jenas will host The One Show alongside Lauren Laverne while Alex is away.
Fans were quick to flood Alex with compliments, with one writing: "Have a lovely break! See you on the other side. PS was perusing this suit just the other day. Love it."
A second wrote: "Not many could pull that off but classy as always 👏🏼 have a great holiday!"
"Looking gorgeous girl have a lovely holiday," said a third.

Alex Jones joined The One Show back in 2010 and presented on the green sofa with Matt Baker.
At the time she replaced Northern Irish broadcaster Christine Lampard and Adrian Chiles.
The TV star is married to New Zealand native Charlie Thomson.
The pair met back in 2011 at a party before tying the knot in 2015 in an intimate, private ceremony.
