‘Ridiculous!’ gasp BBC Breakfast fans as they poke fun at Aintree Ladies Day’s striking outfits

BBC Breakfast fans were left open-mouthed this morning as they poked gentle fun at some of the most elaborate outfits from Aintree Ladies Day.
Weather presenter Sarah Keith-Lucas, 42, got into the spirit as she dressed to impress for her forecasts at the famous racing ground ahead of tomorrow's Grand National.
She was accompanied by sports presenter Mike Bushell, 58, as they spoke to some of today's glam attendees.
Throughout Friday's edition of BBC Breakfast hosts Naga Munchetty and Charlie Stayt cut to the pair who were reporting live from the course.
Sarah at first opted for a more subtle fashion choice, donning a small saucer-style headpiece on top of her teal bodycon dress.
As the coverage continued, the BBC TV personality swapped it for a bright yellow daffodil-inspired hat.
Commenting on the choice, she said: "More is more when it comes to hats.
"This one is designed by a local hat maker here, completely self taught as well.
"So I've gone for not such a subtle look this time."
However, some of those watching couldn't resist commenting on the striking head coverings.
One noted: "Ridiculous hat #BBCBreakfast."
While a second wrote: "Bloody hellfire Sarah, that yellow hat."
But others were more complimentary, particularly about Sarah's original look and the bee hat look from earlier.
Another fan stated: "Looking stunning Sarah. Loved the bumble bee hat on TV this morning."
"The bee hat is totally awesome!" declared an additional viewer.
While someone else wrote: "Good morning, love the hats," along with a string of crying laughter emojis.
