HELEN Flanagan has recently opened up about a big challenge she faced in co-parenting with her ex partner Scott Sinclair.
The actress and former I'm A Celeb star shared a rare insight into a disagreement they had over how to raise their kids.
Helen shares three children with Scott - daughters Matilda, 8, and Delilah, 5, and son Charlie, 3.
In an Instagram post about her summer holidays, she revealed she previously considered homeschooling her children during a period when she planned to embark on a six-month theatre tour.
However, this idea didn’t go down well with Scott.
Helen explained: "I don’t really like the routine of being back at school and I like being spontaneous and having the freedom with the kids.

"I actually did look at home schooling last year when I was going to do a six months theatre tour and wanted them with me but their daddy really didn’t want them to home school even though it would only be for a short period of time."
Despite airing their differences, the former Corrie star added that she can understand one good reason for them to attend a traditional school.
"I definitely think it’s so important though for children to socialise," she continued.
"I asked Matilda what her favourite part of the holiday was and it was all just about the friends she’s made and playing with other kids."

Helen also shared that she has found it difficult to go on holiday with three young children as a single parent, but has managed to enlist the help of friends.
Without another adult tagging along "it would just be too hard with the travelling" she admitted.
Helen added: "And Charlie can’t swim yet so constantly needs an eye on him".
Helen split from footballer Scott in 2022 after the pair spent 13 years together.
She recently discussed the reason why she feels their relationship ended on an episode of Celebs Go Dating.
Speaking to the show's dating experts, she shared: "I think it was just… we weren’t right for each other. We weren’t compatible anymore.
"I remember, I always used to feel quite invisible with Scott. I feel like I was always fighting to get his attention. The arguments that we’d have were just so… it was really sad."
