Lucy Beaumont claps back at troll after ‘needlessly offensive’ remark about Sunday Brunch appearance

LUCY Beaumont clapped back at a troll after they made a ‘needlessly offensive’ remark about her.
The comedian was recently welcomed into the Sunday Brunch studio by hosts Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer.
Lucy, 41, appeared on the weekly cooking show alongside guests such as Strictly Come Dancing winner Ellie Leach and Pixie Lott.
She was on the Channel 4 show to promote the last leg of her tour, however, not all fans were impressed.
One troll was distracted away from the food that was cooked on the show, and instead got personal.
The social media user took to X - formerly known as Twitter - with a horrendous comment about her facial expression and appearance.
They wrote: "@LucyABeaumont @SundayBrunchC4 ..always a face like a slapped a*** unless limelight is on you….my god!!!"
Adding: "Cheer up! There are other guests on too!"
Many of her fans rushed to defend the award-winning stand-up personality, but she later slammed the troll herself.
Lucy initially posted a laughing face emoji and a sarcastic explanation on why she appeared to be late to the show.
"I live in the north and you have to be at the studio at 8.30am on a Sunday!!!", she wrote.
"Also I walked the wrong way and a man asked if I’d seen his ‘Husky’ I started to help him and asked it’s name until I realised he was saying ‘house key’ but this made me late for hair and make up!"
It seems she left fans in hysterics as they also heaped praise on the star and clapped back at the troll.
One fan commented: "The perfect response! Sending love from the North xx."
As a second stated: "Love it Lucy."
But a third raged: "Lovely story but you obviously don’t have to justify yourself to anyone never mind someone who’s so needlessly offensive."
