Emmerdale’s Lisa Riley ‘on stand-by for a new job’ ahead of limo crash which will kill off several characters
Lisa is not the only star addressing their character's future in the show
EMMERDALE star Lisa Riley has revealed she is 'on stand-by for a new job' ahead of the soap's huge limo crash stunt.
Lisa, 48, played Mandy Dingle from 1995 to 2001 before returning from 2019 onwards.

In upcoming scenes, the ITV soap will see several villagers' lives hang in the balance after a terrifying limo crash.
The incident involves 16 regular characters spread across two separate cars.
Speaking to , Lisa revealed anxiousness among the cast over which characters will be killed off.
She said: "Whenever there is a stunt that involves a death, I will always be on standby to phone my agent.

"[In case] it means I am going to need to get a new job!”
Meanwhile, Lisa is not the only Emmerdale star expressing concern for their character ahead of the crash.
Mandy's cousin Cain Dingle is also among the several characters put at risk.
Jeff Hordley, who has played Cain since 2000, revealed he is "worried all the time" in the build-up to the stunt.

He told : "When you hear that they’re doing stunts you instantly think, ‘Somebody’s going to die, somebody’s going to cop it here.’
"Or people being hospitalised, that’s the kind of thing that happens when you do sequences like this."

Asked if the crash's implications worried him, Jeff replied: "I’m worried all the time! Not all the time, that’s a little bit over the top.
"Every time there’s news of this it can unsettle us as a cast because we know the shelf life of characters is not forever in soaps and it’s down to the producers or the writers to steer the ship and take us in the direction they want to take us."
Meanwhile, Mandy is joined by seven other female villagers in her limousine.
These include Amy Wyatt (Natalie Ann Jamieson), Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh), Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick) and Suzy Merton (Martelle Edinborough).
Rounding out the line-up are Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter), Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi) and Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins).

In 2003, murderer Richard tried to kill his step-family: first by gassing them with car fumes and then driving Gail (Helen Worth), Sarah (Tina O'Brien), David (Jack P. Shepherd) and Bethany (Amy and Emily Walton) into a canal.
EASTENDERS
- Queen Vic fire (2010): In September 2010, EastEnders bid farewell to matriarch Peggy Mitchell (Barbara Windsor) as a permanent fixture on the soap - she returned as a guest before the character's death in 2016. In the build-up to her initial exit, Peggy had trapped crack cocaine-addicted son Phil (Steve McFadden) in the Queen Vic. However, he escaped and set the boozer on fire.
- Bus crash (2017): In April 2017, a total of 11 Albert Square residents had their lives at risk in a terrifying bus crash. The stunt saw a double decker bus - the 764 to Barking - lose control and crash through the Albert Square market before hitting a low-level bridge. Notable passengers at the time included Denise Fox (Diane Parish) and Louise Mitchell (Tilly Keeper).
EMMERDALE
- James Barton's death (2016): Interestingly about James' (Bill Ward) death was that it came in a spiral of events. After wife Emma (Gillian Kearney) locked James up in a jealous rage, he escaped and they tussled on a bridge over the bypass. Emma pushed him and James fell into traffic, in turn causing a 12-vehicle pile up, As well as James dying, key characters including Ashley Thomas (John Middleton) and Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) were injured.
Elsewhere, the male-occupied limousine includes Cain, Caleb Miligan (William Ash), Sam Dingle (James Hooton) and Paddy Dingle (Dominic Brunt).
They are joined by Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb), Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson), Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards) and Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano).
