Dancing On Ice fans slam show as ‘fix’ as they spot moment fan favourite was ‘confirmed to be going home’

DANCING On Ice fans have been left feeling heated, with some claiming the latest elimination a "fix".
On Sunday night, EastEnders star Charlie Brooks went up against Anton Ferdinand in the skate off after failing to secure the public votes and judges scores in 80s week.
After taking to the rink once again, Charlie – who is famed for playing Janine on EastEnders – was sent home and bid an emotional farewell.
However, some fans think that her fate was sealed before she even got her skates on after landing in the "death slot" – a position in the line-up that viewers believe is a disadvantage.
Some think that it was unfair on Charlie, particularly as EastEnders' 40th anniversary celebrations are happening this week.
"ITV lumping Charlie in the death slot on EastEnders Anniversary week," one wrote on X/Twitter.
"charlie in the death slot… #DancingOnIce" wrote another.
"Are you kidding me ITV -putting Janine (aka Charlie Brooks) in the death slot in the week of #Eastenders 40th annivasary!" complained a third.
And once she was voted out, fans doubled down on claims that the judges "wanted her gone" from the competition.
"undermarked but who’s surprised?! it’s a shame they wanted her gone this week," one fan complained.
While another said: "after tonight i am now certain the voting is rigged and corrupt !! no way should charlie have been voted off !!"
On Sunday night, following the skate-off, it was down the the judging panel - Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean, Oti Mabuse and Ashley Banjo - to have their say on who should be going home next.
Ashley, Oti and Jayne opted to eliminate Charlie meaning that no vote from Chris was required.
As this week's head judge, Chris would have had the responsibility of making the casting vote if at a tie-break.
Although it was not required, he insisted he would have voted to axe Charlie as well.
Speaking alongside pro partner Eric Radford, Charlie admitted she was ready to leave the show.
Talking to the programme's hosts, she revealed that she had begun to feel "out of her depth" as she confessed that she was the "right person" to go home.
Dancing On Ice continues Sundays on ITV1.
