TV’S Dan Walker pledged to be a pal for life to Strictly pro partner Nadiya Bychkova — and is backing it up by helping to promote her tour.
The Channel 5 news anchor, 47, enjoyed a long lunch with the Ukrainian star, 35, before going to his offices for a meeting.

A source said of the couple, who danced together on Strictly in 2021: “Dan and Nadiya got on from the off and it’s really sweet to see their friendship still going from strength to strength.
“They’ve been a constant in one another’s lives, have spent time with each other’s families, and been involved with each other’s work.
“Dan has really helped Nadiya plug her current tour — her first as a solo performer — as well as going to watch the show himself.”
Former world ballroom dancing champ Nadiya had lunch with Dan and two of his colleagues at a Vietnamese restaurant in London.

The source went on: “He’s hosted a Q&A with her in Barnsley and booked her onto his C5 show where she was very at-ease.
“A few days after the Q&A they had a long lunch, brainstorming some exciting projects and ideas.”
Nadiya and former BBC Breakfast host Dan got to the Strictly quarter final.
Dan — married to university sweetheart Sarah — said after their exit: “There are some people that walk into your life and turn some lights on and that’s what she has done to me.
