It came just moments after fitness fan Ryan, 37, married beautiful blonde wife Jacqui, 29 in a stunning MAFS ceremony.

Yet things turned sour when he was accused of "ruining everything" - after dropping his spouse on the floor during their first dance routine.

Shortly after, Ryan had a one-on-one with producers and confessed: "I dropped my bride.

"I've never dropped someone in my entire life so I don't want to be that guy."

He continued: "I need to have a discussion with production about preserving that woman's dignity because that was not right.

That was a miscalculation and I don't feel that she needs to be ridiculed like that.

"It's more about her than anything."

As the producer reassured him Jacqui, who works as a consultant, was "perfectly fine" he insisted: "I'm not thinking of myself I am thinking of her.

"Everyone was horrified.

"I don't want those reactions to be the subject of national ridicule.

"People will laugh ..." before tailing out.

Previously, in an interview with  after much of the series had aired in Australia, Ryan, opened up about his time on the show and appeared to make peace with the decision to keep his blunder in the final cut.

"Haha, watching my edit back was cringeworthy, but you know what? I'm here for it," Ryan said.

"I'm here to be like, it's a cautionary tale.

DANCEFLOOR NIGHTMARE

MAFS Aus viewers were left stunned by the wedding day antics as they played out on-screen.

Surrounded by loved ones, the couple could be seen dancing with one another as their friends and family watched on in delight.

"I'm going to dip you, ready?" Ryan then said to Jacqui as the pair danced on the dancefloor.

As Ryan dipped his new bride backwards, she was sent too far back and dramatically fell over.

Ryan ended up dropping Jacqui instead of dipping her, with him then taking a tumble too.

Losing his footing, Ryan went to save his wife before he landed on top of her.

One of the wedding guests then exclaimed that he had "ruined everything" before the screen went blank.
