Nineties soap sex symbol, 59, has barely aged a day 26 years after cult show’s cancellation sparked fan campaign

A SEX symbol from a nineties soap has barely aged a day after the cult show's cancellation.
The 59-year-old actress starred in the serial drama which aired on Channel 5 from 1997 until 1999.
The soap - Sunset Beach - focused on the personal lives of those who resided in the eponymous Orange County coastal area.
And it starred none other than Sarah Buxton, who played spoiled California resident, Annie Douglas Richards
Throughout its run, the NBC show won two Daytime Emmy Awards and was nominated for another eleven gongs at the ceremony.
When the show was axed in 1999, fans were absolutely livid - they even started a campaign to save the show.
Despite the show's popularity in the UK, bosses decided to go ahead with their plans to cancel the daytime programme.
But two decades later, the actress looks better than ever as she posts content on her social media.
She regularly shows off her stunning figure and long blonde locks as she updates her 15,000 fans on Instagram.
Although she still works as an actress, the star also makes ends meet as an interior designer, according to her bio on the photo-sharing site.
Although Sarah's casting and character was announced before the soap went to air, she soon became a fan favourite.
In the show, she was implicated in the murder of her father Del Douglas (John Reilly).
Although she initially had eyes for Ben Evans (Clive Robertson), she then gave up hope for him as she knew she had to marry Gregory Richards (Sam Behrens).
This was so she could claim her father's inheritance after he had an affair with Gregory's wife.
As the ultimate revenge, he would try to use his daughter to break up their marriage from beyond the grave.
In the end, Annie found love with undercover cop, Jude Cavanaugh (Sean Kanan) as she tried to get as much money out of her father's will as she could.
She also made peace with longtime rivals Olivia Richards (Lesley-Anne Down) and Meg Cummings (Sydney Penny).
After the show ended Sarah went on to star as Morgan DeWitt in The Bold And The Beautiful, and Crystal Galore in Days Of Our Lives.
And she kept very busy in 2024, starring in three films - The Fall, Hustlers Rake All, and Feeling Randy.
