A SMASH-hit comedy with a near-perfect Rotten Tomatoes score is set to return for a fifth series.
The show launched in May 2020 and has aired over 30 episodes to date.
Trying stars Esther Smith and Rafe Spall as lead characters, married couple Nikki and Jason.
According to, Apple TV+ has ordered a fifth series, with filming resuming in London this summer.
Trying boasts on review aggregate website Rotten Tomatoes.
In the beginning, Nikki and Jason really wanted to become parents but struggled to conceive.

Their journey subsequently took them through challenges in the adoption process.
Series four featured a six-year time jump showing Nikki and Jason as parents to Tyler (Cooper Turner) and Princess (Scarlett Rayner).
The most recent instalment concluded with drama in Princess' quest to find her birth moother.
Meanwhile, stars Esther and Rafe - who are a couple in real life - welcomed their own baby last year.

Speaking on Lorraine prior to the birth, Esther shared an insight into future plans for Trying.
She said: "We'll have a baby, and then we'll carry on, perhaps, with that [Trying]."
Further cast members include Sian Brooke, Darren Boyd, Oliver Chris and Ophelia Lovibond.
The first two series featured Harry Potter and Downton Abbey star Imelda Staunton as Penny, the couple's adoption officer.
In November 2022, The Sun told how Rafe - son of acting legend Timothy Spall - split from wife Elize du Toit and struck up a romance with co-star Esther.
He and former Hollyoaks actress Elize tied the knot in 2010 and welcomed three children together.

One onlooker said: “They looked very happy and comfortable in each other’s company.
"Both were laughing and smiling as they walked to the pub for a drink.
