Hollyoaks’ Chelsee Healey shares worrying post about being ‘on a downward spiral’ as boyfriend faces prison time
HOLLYOAKS star Chelsee Healey has shared a worrying post about ‘putting on a brave face,’ while saying she’s ‘on a downward spiral.’
In April, The Sun on Sunday revealed that Chelsee’s boyfriend Eddie Rainford, 31, had pleaded guilty to supplying Class B drugs at court on January 23, just four days after she was eliminated from ITV’s Dancing on Ice.
And after her ice exit, Chelsee hinted at the tough time she had endured away from the cameras, saying: “There has been a lot going on with me that I have been struggling with.”
And now, the soap actress, famed for her role as Goldie McQueen in the Channel 4 soap, has sparked concern again amongst fans, after her boyfriend faced prison time.
The star took to social media in some silk pyjamas, and told fans: “I wanted to come on here and speak about vulnerability.
“It’s so hard to come on here and open up and let people know that you’re vulnerable, and I feel like I’ve had a guard up my whole life.

“When I’m struggling I don’t let people in, and I’ve always put on a brave face and I don’t like people knowing I’m on a downward spiral.”
Chelsee continued: “I don’t like people to know that I’m not where I want to be, so I just think it’s very important to say if you do need help, please reach out.
“It’s a cliche saying ‘It’s ok not to be ok,’ but you know, years ago I would never even come on social media like this, like ‘this is me,’ and this is the real, raw me.
“I’m speaking from the heart as well, and as I’ve got older I don’t mind telling people I’m struggling - I think it’s good and speaking to people is good, and asking for help is fine.”

The Hollyoaks star finished by saying: “If you’re feeling a little bit vulnerable that’s nothing to be ashamed of, it’s life and everyone’s vulnerable at some point.
“It takes a big person to be honest about their feelings and when things aren’t as great. So if this video has helped anyone then that’s all I want.”
Chelsee was flooded with messages of support in the comments, with many praising the star for her very honest post.
One person wrote: “Thank you for opening up and showing vulnerability - I think we all have this but real bravery is opening up about it.”
A second penned: “Someone living their true life on social media, you’re incredible.”
And a third echoed: “Keep it up babe, you look gorgeous and you’re amazing for this.”
Last month, The Sun revealed that Chelsee IS returning to Hollyoaks after an extended break.
A source said: “Chelsee’s returning to filming this month after her leave.
“She’s had a tough time in her personal life recently but she’ll be back filming soon and that’ll help take her mind of it.”
The news came just days after The Sun on Sunday revealed the identity of her father of her youngest child, Cookie.
Chelsee had tried to keep his identity a secret ever since Cookie’s birth in December.
After her ice exit, Chelsee hinted at the tough time she had endured away from the cameras, and a source said: “What Chelsee was desperately coping with while on the show was that her partner, the father of her youngest daughter, was in court for drug-dealing and has been sent to prison on remand.”
Another insider said she was no longer in a relationship with Rainford.

Rainford is charged with being concerned in the supply of a quantity of cannabis between November 11, 2022, and September 28, 2023, in Salford.
Co-defendant Jay Boyd faces the same charge.
