James Martin’s horror as his car is vandalised in broad daylight as he shares pic and says ‘London is broken’

CELEBRITY chef James Martin was shocked to discover his car window was smashed in broad daylight as he told fans "London is broken".
The ITV star shared a photo of a gaping hole in the vehicle's rear windscreen after it was targeted by vandals.
He didn't make clear what was stolen from his car boot.
James wrote on Instagram: "So in a week two of my friends cars got stolen, one other mate got mugged and now I had this happen all in broad daylight all in central London.
"London is broken big time…"
Referring to his dog, James added: "Next time I’m bringing the Mali's."

The star of James Martin's Saturday Morning was flooded with support from fans.
One said: "So sorry this has happened to you. The whole of the UK is the same, the laws need to change and we need more police on the streets."
Another added: "This is so sad, what once was an incredible capital city is now a centre for crime."
A follower wrote: "Not right is it, but what's worse is nobody in authority cares."

He has also published over 20 best-selling cook books.
James has been through a tough time of late as he faced brutal health battles.
He was first diagnosed with cancer six years ago - but kept it secret from fans.
James underwent surgery but it returned on "several occasions".
Speaking last month on Lorraine, James said: "My stitches are falling out.
“As you know, the last time I was on, I was in the middle of operations. But as we speak, the stitches are falling out of my body at the moment.
“So yeah, that’s all clear – onwards and upwards!’
In November 2023, James revealed he was taking a break from work after he was diagnosed with facial cancer in 2018.
At the time, he explained: "I was then diagnosed with cancer on my face, and I had to have surgery, which I couldn’t do until two days before Christmas when we had finished filming.
“Since then, it has returned on several occasions, and I have to have regular treatments.”
According to , James told the crowd at one of his band's live gigs in Liverpool: "On a personal note, I just wanted to say thank you for 30 years of television.
"I will be back fighting at the end of February but I'm going on a little bit of a break to get that sorted."
James, who was on tour with The James Martin Band, added: "I just wanted to say thank you for all your support and all your messages."
"For me personally, I've been through a lot of s*** with cancer, but I'm getting sorted at the end of next month."
