James Argent smiles and gives the thumbs up just hours after drugs OD drama and split with Gemma Collins
JAMES Argent gave the thumbs up and flashed a smile as he emerged yesterday after it was revealed that Gemma Collins had called 999 amid fears he’d overdosed.
The 31-year-old looked in good spirits despite being dumped once again by his on/off girlfriend as she fears drugs will end up killing him.
The Sun revealed that the Diva Forever star told ex-Towie castmate Arg their tumultuous relationship is over until he beats his addiction.
It comes after The Sun on Sunday revealed she rang 999 after he failed to return calls for more than 12 hours, sparking fears he had overdosed.
Cops eventually had to break into his £1.3million five-bed house in South Woodford, North East London.
A pal said: “Gemma genuinely thinks Arg will end up dead before long unless he gets clean.
“The people around him just keep covering for him, and if that keeps happening it’ll have a tragic ending. He’s on a one-way ticket to nowhere.
“She’s told him she will not be with him until he sorts himself out.
"He’s been to rehab in the past and she stood by him as she saw it as the right thing to do, but he’s not even doing that now. He’s a mess.”
Arg has had several stints in rehab — and was booted off Towie this year after failing a drug test

Yesterday Arg claimed he was hanging pictures with parents Patricia and Martin when emergency services first called. He told The Sun on Sunday: “I wasn’t speaking to a certain person so I didn’t reply.
“They became concerned and called the police and ambulance.”
He added: “The police and paramedics were only here for about ten minutes. I’m slightly embarrassed really. I apologise for any wasted police time as I was absolutely fine.”
Last night Gemma said: “Out of respect to Arg and his family, we do not wish to comment.”
