Stacey Solomon stuns in metallic gown and jokes boyfriend Joe Swash won’t recognise her at the ITV Palooza
STACEY Solomon looked sensational in a metallic dress at last night's ITV Palooza bash - joking that boyfriend Joe Swash wouldn't recognise her.
The 30-year-old star expressed her sadness at not seeing her children all day yesterday because she had back-to-back showbiz commitments.
However, she couldn't hide her excitement at attending the star-studded do at the Royal Festival Hall in a rare date night with 37-year-old Joe.
Stacey embraced her quirky style with the attention-grabbing gown, which was layered with multi-coloured metallic tiers.
The dress was completed with a plunging neckline, on-trend puff sleeves, and a cinched in waist, and Stacey accessorised with drop earrings and metallic peep-toe shoes.
Her long brown hair looked glossy and chic, styled into loose curls, and Joe looked smart in a navy suit with trendy glasses.
Stacey took to Instagram ahead of the event to show off her stunning look, writing: "Last event of the day.
"Can't wait to get back to the boys but also excited to be dressed up and on my way to meet Joe so that we can go together... Not sure if he will recognise me."
The pair put on a loved-up display on the red carpet, but after the event Stacey admitted that he was "fuming" with her for making him skip the after party so they could get back home to her sleeping children.
She explained: "Joe's not happy that I made him leave early, he's fuming.
"I'm sorry, I want to see the babies."
Joe moaned: "I bought a new jacket and waistcoat for nothing!"

Stacey later updated fans as she revealed they'd treated themselves to a McDonalds for the journey home.
Six-month-old Rex is Stacey and Joe's first child together, with the TV favourite also mum to 11-year-old Zachary and seven-year-old Leighton from previous relationships.
Joe is also dad to 12-year-old Harry.
