Cash-strapped Tori Spelling ‘begs for Real Housewives gig after 90210 reboot canceled amid low ratings’
ACTRESS Tori Spelling is reportedly desperate to become one of the Real Housewives.
Sources say she’s serious about joining the Bravo family after Fox did not renew the Beverly Hills, 90210 reboot.
Insiders tell : “She is freaking out because the 90210 show was her moneymaker”
They went on: “She thinks now is the time … Except she is delusional because she doesn’t have enough money to be a Housewife!”
Tori reportedly was paid $70,000 per episode and then another $15,000 per episode for co-creating the reboot.
She also recently tried doing live shows with BH90210 with costar Jennie Garth, but at least five of them have already been canceled.
So sources say she is looking to do more reality than scripted television.
In an August appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Tori told host Andy Cohen she was slightly offended that she had never asked her to be a Housewife.
She said she’s a massive fan of the reality series and friends with some of the housewives, including Kyle Richards and Denise Richards.
PUBLIC MONEY PROBLEMS
The 46-year-old, who has five children with husband Dean McDermott, has gone through some very public money issues recently.
American Express Bank sued Tori and Dean, 52, in 2016 for failing to pay credit card bills and was ordered the couple to pay back over $87,000.
Court papers show in August American Express Bank filed a Writ of Execution, in which they asked the Sheriff or Marshal of the County of Los Angeles to carry out the $88,391.25 judgment on Tori.
City National bank apparently also sued the couple for not paying back a $400,000 loan.
The bank was awarded about $200,000 judgement in 2017, but later claimed they never received it.
Tori also still reportedly owes over a million dollars in federal and state taxes.

Insiders say Tori is trying to figure out with her agents “how she can leverage her money and move forward” after the reboot.
They added: “She’s discouraged because they’ve been telling her she’s only as good as her last project, and that has failed.
“So she feels like a failure!”
