Charlize Theron, Renee Zellweger, Michelle Williams and more at their first SAG Awards

CHARLIZE Theron, Renee Zellweger and Michelle Williams walk the red carpet in these images from their Screen Actor's Guild Awards ceremony.

It is the Hollywood veterans who will be out in force at this year's ceremony, with only a handful of first-time nominees making the cut.

Charlize first walked the red carpet back in 2000 when she and the cast of Cider House Rules nominated in the Best Ensemble category.

She did not win that year, but did pick up the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role prize four years later for her work in Monster.

The South African-born beauty is in the running for two awards tonight for her work playing Megyn Kelly in Bombshell.

Jennifer Aniston has been nominated for 10 SAG Awards over the course of her career, and won the Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series prize back in 1996 with a few of her Friends.

Here she is pictured a few years later at the 1999 ceremony, where the cast was again nominated but failed to take home the big prize.

She will be hoping to take home trophy number two this evening for her work in The Morning Show.

Michelle was just 23 when she was nominated for her first SAG Award, receiving that honor for her work alongside the cast of The Station Agent.

She is nominated tonight for the seventh time after her work in the TV series Fosse/Verdon.

The actress is hoping the seventyh time is the charm, as she has yet o walk home with the night's top prize.

Renee Zellweger was first nominated for a SAG Award in 1997 as part of the Jerry McGuire cast.

Twenty-three years later she is nominated again for her work as Judy Garland in Judy.

In between that first nomination and now she has taken home three trophies, two for her work in Chicago and one for Cold Mountain.
