Slowthai was born Tyron Kaymone Frampton on December 18, 1994, and is a British rapper from Northampton.
his rap name came out from his childhood nickname of "Slow Ty" because he'd constantly "zone out" and watch the world.
Slowthai rose to popularity in 2019 for his notoriously gritty and rough instrumentals and raw, politically charged lyrics especially around Brexit and Theresa May’s tenure as British Prime Minister.
