Killing Eve’s Jodie Comer confirms Villanelle will finally ‘show vulnerability’ as past catches up with her in season 3

KILLING Eve’s Jodie Comer has confirmed Villanelle will finally "show vulnerability" as her past catches up with her in season three.
The 26-year-old actress plays the sexy assassin in the hit BBC series alongside Sandra Oh.
Villanelle's past has remained a bit of a mystery over the first two seasons, but fans have loved her warped and wild antics and obsessive feelings towards Sandra's character, Eve.
But as the show gears up for season three, Jodie has revealed her character's twisted alter ego will show another side this time around.
She told British Vogue: "The audience love what they love about her, but it’s been nice to show a different side to that. Maybe a little bit of vulnerability."
Jodie has won a slew of awards for her portrayal of Villanelle, which is even more sweet considering she "stunk of desperation" at one point when she was struggling to find work.
She told the publication: "I remember there was a year where I didn’t work for eight or nine months.
"You get up in the morning, get yourself ready, get to the train station, two-hour train, get to your audition, you’re in there for 10 minutes, and then you’re coming all the way back home.
"Sometimes I was doing it three times a week.”
Adding she "stunk of desperation", she said: "Basically. It became, ‘I need the job.’ And then you go into auditions and they can smell it.”
