50 Cent announces ‘deadly, high-stakes’ new crime drama Black Mafia Family inspired by true story

50 CENT has vowed his gritty new series Black Mafia Family will be the "biggest show on television."
The rapper, real name Curtis Jackson, has gushed over the "high-stakes" show to be aired on Starz.
The actor and producer has been given the thumbs up for his new project following the vast success of six series of Power.
Power came back to Netflix on January 6, 2020 for part two of season 6, yet speculation is rife as to the outcome and whether Ghost is still alive.
Despite 50 Cent's filming in Power spin-off's Power Book II: Ghost and Power Book III: Raising Kanan being suspended due to coronavirus, it appears he has a new project to be excited about.
Speaking about Black Mafia Family, he said: "I told you Black Mafia Family was coming and it's going to be the biggest show on television.
"Meech and Terry are legends and I am excited to bring their story to Starz."
Jeffrey Hirsch, Starz President and CEO, said in a statement: "This is a project Curtis has always been incredibly passionate about and we are excited to have him as our partner in bringing it to life.
"Black Mafia Family has all the hallmarks of a great drama, from the larger-than-life Flenory brothers to the deadly, high-stakes world they inhabited.
"This series is going to be an incredible ride for audiences around the world."
