Casualty confirms Ruby Spark’s exit as she starts new life with baby niece – but final shift takes grisly turn

CASUALTY has confirmed that Ruby Sparks will exit the show.
Ruby, played by actress Maddy Hill, will be leaving the show this weekend.
Maddy Hill''s final scenes will air on Saturday April 18.
They come as Ruby makes the life changing decision to raise her baby niece, Harmony, after changing her mind about her parenting skills.
Ruby initially gave her niece to her parents after her sister Violette's tragic death.
However, she had a change of heart after learning of her parents' plans to relocate with Harmony to Portugal.

When her boss Jan (Di Botcher) gives her a much-needed boost in confidence, she reevaluates her potential to be a parent.
After deciding that she wants a future with Harmony, she rushes to the airport to fetch her.
But not before deciding that she wants to quit her job as a paramedic and start afresh elsewhere.
Unfortunately it's a grisly goodbye, as Ruby's last shift on the team sees her forced to amputate a woman's arm after she's pushed under a moving train.
