Rhian Sugden slams OnlyFans critics and says posing topless doesn’t make her a porn star

GLAMOUR model Rhian Sugden has hit back at critics of the site OnlyFans, insisting that posing topless does not make her a porn star.
The 33-year-old took to Twitter on Wednesday in defence of the site, which allows users to create private profiles and share pictures and videos, many of which are often sexual in nature.
"A lot of people have a lot of opinions about OnlyFans but hardly know anything about it," she shared, writing in a statement: "There are so many judgemental Janets knocking about.
"People need to remember, for the last 13 years I have been a page 3 girl and appeared in all the UK lads mags - topless.
"My boobs do not offend me. They have been the biggest part of my career for a long time.
"A career that was taken away from all the 'glamour girls' back in 2015 when all the lads mags folded."
She continued: "OnlyFans is essentially a platform where you share whatever it is you like. There are personal trainers on there, dog lovers, bloggers.. glamour girls and yes, pornstars.
"I have control over what content I want to upload. I've also met some genuinely great people on there too, but most of all I'm able to carry on the job that I have loved doing for the past decade."
The married reality star went on to say she is "not ashamed" of her bare naked chest forever being "all over the internet" so she is embracing other opportunities.
She concluded: "I'm proud to have been the longest standing page 3 girl and I am very grateful to have built up a fan base that has followed me throughout those years."
Rhian is married to Coronation Street actor Oliver Mellor, 39, and the Page 3 favourite recently spoke of her devastation as she was forced to put her IVF treatment on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Posting to her Twitter account, the Manchester native gave her fans an update on the situation, writing: “Our fertility clinic has closed due to #COVID19 so we are currently on hold until further notice.
“Good things come to those who wait right?”
Rhian was left heartbroken in September when she was told the treatment had not been successful but the pair vowed to again.
