Chris has been raising money for the healthcare service since last week after launching an epic auction.
Bidding for Rod's watch has now reached an impressive £15,250 as fans try to get their hands on his prized possession.
Rod said: ”I bought that when I met Penny back in the day when I was on holiday in the south of France.
“It’s a beauty, it’s a men’s watch, it’s a summer watch, it’s white. And everybody has seen it because I wear it so much on stage.”
Blown away by his generosity, Chris replied: “Rod, thanks so much, I really appreciate it."
Rod also gave away a signed Celtic football shirt that has already reached £5,600.
The Maggie May hitmaker even hinted at donating more of his belongings to raise cash for the NHS.
Host Chris launched the auction by selling off some of his own items - with everything from vintage James Bond posters to Concorde seats and an Olympic torch from the London Games in 2012 going under the hammer.
The big-hearted Virgin Radio star, 54, has already raised £114,337 from this week's auction and it's going up fast.
Chris revealed his fundraising efforts on his Virgin Radio breakfast show last week, announcing: "Today we start our Family Evans garage sale for the NHS.
"We’ve done it - we’ve put together this website with a very, very nice man who runs a company called Bid In. I’ve never met the guy but he’s an absolute superstar.
"One hundred per cent of the proceeds from the auction will go to the NHS charity which needs it most.
"The first few lots are on today - we had so much fun over the weekend writing little descriptions about them and how much do we say about them. Can I remember where most of them come from. Answer: no!”
