BRASSIC'S Carol has a porn star past which jeopardises her relationship with Cardi, actress Bronagh Gallagher has revealed.
The character first appeared in series one of the hit Sky One comedy, but viewers are finding out so much more about her in season two.

The show will delve a bit more into Carol's past, and Bronagh revealed: "She’s a dark past and basically it comes to light that she was a porn star!
"It was only one moment, she needed the money.
"But Cardi finds out and when it all comes to light he’s not happy, it doesn’t go down well, it’s not a good moment at all.
"It almost cracks the relationship, but they stick at it."
Discussing Carol's relationship with Cardi - played by Tom Hanson - Bronagh added: "They love each other and obviously he’s gone out of his way to understand her wild ways and she’s obviously accepted into the troop now.
"She’s very much the one that wears the trousers. He’s a big softy. They bounce off each other."
Despite their love for each other, things can get pretty heated between the pair.
Bronagh continued: "They’re a pretty fiery couple but he has a heart of gold and she loves that she can boss him around!

"That’s the important thing. She basically loves the fact that she can tell him what to do.
"She’s come from a family of all brothers, so she probably doesn’t get to tell them too much what to do, but she gets to boss Cardi about, which is great."
Series two of Brassic continues tonight at 10pm on Sky One.
