KATE Garraway has revealed David Beckham sent private messages of support to her family amid her husband Derek's coronavirus battle.
The football legend reached out on Instagram to ask if there was anything he could do to help Kate and her family.
Kate - who made her return to Good Morning Britain today for the first time in four months - said: "He did very sweetly contact me on Instagram.
"He asked if there was anything he could do to help and I was tempted to say 'your Mrs' wardrobe, that would be helpful' on a joking level.
"I just thought it was so sweet and I said to be honest just being able to tell Darcy and Billy you'd been in touch, so I said 'you've helped enough thank you.'"
Kate then explained he sent video messages to her kids over Instagram - but she didn't realise they disappear once you've played them.
The 53-year-old explained: "Then he sent a video message - although he sent it on something clever, which I couldn't work, where you play it once and lose it.
"Fortunately he sent two, but Darcey didn't get hers. I played it, then it was gone. I learnt the second time though."
Since March, the presenter has been supporting her sick husband Derek Draper throughout his devastating coronavirus battle.
Despite her tragic circumstances, Kate is trying to "look to the future" and get some normality back in her family's lives.
But she admitted her first day back hadn't been smooth sailing as things went wrong behind the scenes.

Before going on air at 6am, Kate's driver failed to turn up, her computer went into a two-hour update and the show's autocue operator slept in.
She insisted on having "fun" for viewers, although warned: "Don't be too nice or I'll get too emotional, go back to being rude.
She added: "It's lovely to be here."
