THE REAL hosts were "blindsided" by Tamera Mowry's decision to quit the show after seven years.
The 42-year-old actress' shocking decision came earlier this week.
According to following : “The rest of the girls were blindsided."
Insiders went on: “It wasn’t an easy decision to make and she loves her co-stars.
“Adrienne, Jeannie, Loni and Tamera all have a great relationship."
Sources also told Hollywood "Only Loni knew she was considering” quitting the show.
They said: “Tamera decided to leave The Real because she wants to focus on acting more in TV and movies.
“She’s living in Napa full-time and wants to be more involved in her kids’ schooling (from home).”
Tamera tried to get in front of the news she was leaving The Real being leaked, taking to Instagram with her announcement.
Insiders revealed: “She heard that it was potentially going to leak that she was leaving.
"She didn’t want that to happen, which is why she did it herself when she did.”
Tamera revealed the news she was leaving the show on her Instagram on Monday.
She captioned: "I had NO intention to talk about this today, especially in light of the news of my dear friend Naya, but now some reports are coming out and I’d rather you hear it from me first."
She went on: “However, all good things must come to an end, and it’s with a bittersweet smile that I announce that I am moving on from The Real.
"To my fellow hosts, I love you, I will miss you, and I will always be there for you."

The Sister Sister star is married to former baseball player Adam Housley.
She had been a host of the successful show since it first aired in the summer of 2013 and leaves the syndicated series after six seasons.
Last month show co-host Amanda Seales also left the show saying she found the talk show lacking black voices "at the top."
