Olly Murs left fuming as he reveals fake accounts are scamming fans out of money using his name
OLLY Murs has been left "fuming" after fake accounts scammed his fans out of money using his name.
The singer, 36, revealed people claiming to be him have been fishing for money and saying it's for charity - leaving his fans and the charities out of pocket.

Olly said in a video on Monday night: "I am angry, I'm really really upset. Some charities have been scammed recently by people using fake accounts. I'm fuming.
"Please if you see anyone message you using my name, with a 5378 or OllyMurs2522, whatever it is,…it’s not me, ok, my accounts on all social media are verified, that is the only account that I have, that I’m me. So please ignore any other messages from anyone. I'm really upset for the charities.
"I know right now with everything that’s happening, that money is needed.
"So I’m going to donate to them guys for what’s happened, I’m just really really gutted for all you guys that thought it was me, please it’s not.

“Ok ignore the fake accounts, stay safe online."
He also pleaded with fans to spot the scammers and report them to Instagram.
Olly then captioned his post: "So angry.. 😤🤬 Please remember my social media accounts are Verified for a reason to stop these issues / problems. Please BLOCK / IGNORE or report any FAKE accounts pretending to be me in the future 👍🏻👌🏻 Stay safe x"
His kind gesture comes after The Sun revealed he made £20,000 a DAY last year after raking in the cash through his role on The Voice and music hits.

Olly's latest accounts for ICYDK on Companies House shows he's made a profit of £7.5m.
He's also got almost £3m in investments and another near £2m in the bank.
Olly has had huge success with his music career since starring on The X Factor.
He's had four number ones and six top ten albums. Last year he embarked on a , performing to fans from as far and wide as Aberdeen, Dublin and Bournemouth to mark his ten-year anniversary in the industry.
The Troublemaker singer is also a judge for The Voice UK after joining alongside Sir Tom Jones, Jennifer Hudson and Will.i.am.
