Phil was asking people to email or text in their embarrassing stories about texting, when he just burst out laughing, with Holly quickly following suit.

She couldn't compose herself and had to sit down, which she sensationally revealed was because she thought she was going to wet herself.

Speaking on Facebook Live this morning, Holly revealed lots of her Twitter followers knew why she had to rush to sit down.

She said: “I never had to sit down because I thought I was going to wet myself on the telly so that was a TV first for me.

“It was funny because there were so many people of twitter afterwards saying: ‘You’re just like me, you have to sit down in case you wet yourself’ so it’s perfectly obvious."

Meanwhile, Philip explained that it was one of their famous in-jokes that caused them to laugh so much.

He said said: “Yesterday we were shameful presenters, we were appalling.

“It’s like laughing in church when you’re absolutely not supposed to laugh and it makes it worse.

"We had gone to commercial break, we were back on the telly and we’d made each other laugh because we were talking about people who had sent texts to the wrong person.

"And we know of a story that we still can’t tell you because even on Facebook Live it’s too rude but it just made us laugh."

This wasn't the first time the presenting duo have got the giggles this week.

On Monday they were left in stitches when chatting to TV personality Karl Pilkington.

It was after he revealed he keeps a hot water bottle in his car for bathroom emergencies.

Phillip quizzed him on drinking his own wee while filming An Idiot Abroad and then asked Karl about keeping the hot water bottle in his car.

Karl couldn’t believe Phil asked him that question, and said: “Why do you bring up all these things?”

He explained: “The people I’ve told about this, mainly cab drivers, think it’s a brilliant idea.

“You know what traffic is like in London, I only came about three miles today but it took me half an hour because the traffic is murder.

“Is there anything worse than being stuck in a car when you need to go?

“So, always have a hot water bottle under the passenger seat and it’s ideal for relieving yourself into.”

Holly and Phillip couldn’t believe what he was saying and had had to put their hands over their faces to stop themselves from laughing.
