GIGI Hadid and Zayn Malik have kept fans guessing about their relationship status after the singer was spotted leaving her New York home yesterday.
The cute couple split last week yet seem to have now been talking things over, hinting they could be trying to patch things up.
Yesterday, Bradford lad Zayn wore an all-black outfit of a long coat, skinny jeans and open necked top as he strode out of the plush residential building.
His hand tattoos were on full show as his hands peeked from the jacket's long sleeves while he kept his bling simple wearing just a silver crucifix.
He kept his head down as he walked through the doors and into the New York sunshine.
The ex One Direction hottie looked fully relaxed as he was spotted smoking outside.
He even stopped for a selfie with an eagle-eyed fan who was quick to whip out her phone as she saw him leaving.
He began hooking up with the catwalk queen last year after his split from former fiancee and Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards yet last week the pair called time on their love.
Meanwhile Gigi, 21, left the same building a short while later sporting black clobber similar to her ex.
She looked cute and casual in skinny black leggings and a bomber jacket emblazoned with her name.
A striped top and bright trainers rounded off her sporty style as she followed Zayn from her home.
While the gorgeous Victoria's Secret girl has kept quiet since their split, this week she took to her Twitter page to re-post a message about the One Direction hunk's first solo single Pillowtalk.
Gigi starred in the raunchy video as the pair frolicked on-screen to the racy lyrics and she showed her support for her former flame's career by giving the thumbs-up to the message celebrating the track securing 500million views on Vevo.
Although she didn't add any words to the Tweet, she popped on a few cartoon wide eyed Emojis and three high-five icons to accompany the chart news.
A source close to the couple, who even teamed up for a sweet shoot in Vogue magazine, has dropped a huge hint they are again hooking up.
They said: "They broke up and got back together almost right away.
"Right not it's back on, but it could be off again in an hour."
The added to US Weekly: "They are young and keep going back and forth.
"Things are testy between them."
Shortly after their split, Gigi took to her Snapchat to post a cryptic message showing a card that said: "I know it's obvious but I love you."
The babe, who previously dated singer Joe Jonas, also appeared to be leaning on model pal Kendall Jenner for support as they posted pictures together.

Zayn, 23, who was previously engaged to Perrie Edwards from Little Mix, recently said he was protective of his relationship with Gigi in the public eye.
He told Complex magazine: “I try to keep the two very separate. I try to, as much as I can. But there’s only so much you can do.
“I’m learning to deal with it. It’s just one of those things now, in the background. I just leave it as a bit of a noise in the background.”
The pair first sparked rumours they were together after being spotted at the American Music Awards in November, weeks after Gigi had split from Joe Jonas.
At the time, a source said they "couldn't keep their hands off each other."
Despite being spotted looking loved-up on several dates around LA, the pair refused to confirm their relationship.
Though Zayn then let the cat out of the bag he finally confirmed they're an item when a fan called into a radio interview and asked: "Was it cool to have your girlfriend in the video?"
Speaking on Zach & the Gang, he said: "Uh, yeah. That was cool. It was something different. We enjoyed it. It was fun."
