Usher and girlfriend Jenn Goicoechea welcome first child together, daughter Sovereign Bo
USHER announced on Wednesday that he and girlfriend Jenn Goicoechea have welcomed a baby girl.
The 41-year-old singer also has two kids – sons Naviyd, 11, and Usher V, 12 – with ex Tameka Foster, but this is his first child with Jenn.
Usher confirmed earlier this month on Good Morning America that the two of them were expecting a child.
When he shared the baby’s birth on Instagram on Wednesday, he posted a sweet photo of his hand holding onto his little one’s tiny hand.
The artist captioned it: “We are feeling blessed and full of love with the arrival of our beautiful baby girl, Sovereign Bo Raymond.
“‘Isn’t she lovely’ by Stevie Wonder on repeat.”
While on the morning show a few weeks ago, Usher shared that his two sons are overjoyed by the fact that they’re now going to be the older brothers of a little sister.
The 41-year-old dad said: “[They’re] elated and excited. Babies always bring such joy to a family. Really excited for my young one -- well, my bean's arrival.”
Not only has the singer-actor-dancer now added Girl Dad to the his long list of titles, but he’s also about to add Las Vegas Residency Headliner to that list.
It was recently announced that he'll be headlining his own Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace starting in July 2021.
Of the new gig, the Texas native said: ”[To] be able to go back in time and do the earlier songs as well as new music and give people this up close and personal immersive experience is really something that I'm looking forward to.
“Really looking forward to Las Vegas, going there for 12 shows starting in July and really excited about it. It's gonna be crazy, man, really crazy."

Prior to starting up a relationship with music executive Jenn, Usher was married to the mother of his sons Tameka from 2007 to 2009.
He later married his girlfriend and manager Grace Miguel while vacationing in Cuba in 2015, but the two divorced three years later, with Usher saying at the time that they “remain as deeply connected, loving friends.”
The singer reportedly started dating Jenn in October 2019.
