Ruthless Sharon Osbourne shows no mercy as she leaves contestants in tears during X Factor auditions
Show judge speaks for the first time since making comeback

AUDITIONS have barely begun but X Factor has already this week seen distraught contestants left shaken and weeping.
It’s thanks to the return of fiery SHARON OSBOURNE who, speaking exclusively for the first time since her return, told me: “I don’t want to hurt anyone, but unfortunately the nerves and rejection during the audition process does often cause some tears.
“I’m a mum and a grandma, I don’t want to intentionally hurt anyone who comes to audition but sometimes you have to say no.”
I’m told her bitchy attitude during filming in Manchester forced head honcho SIMON COWELL to swoop in to console one young mum whose dreams were dashed.
A source said of Monday’s explosive vents: “Sharon’s showing no mercy this year. She’s had contestants, who have queued up for 16 hours to audition, in pieces.
“Some were left so distraught by her comments they refused to do interviews afterwards.
“She even described one as looking ‘like a little hooker’.
“It’s safe to say the bitch is back.”
Sharon, who is being paid £1.7million to join Simon on the judging panel alongside LOUIS WALSH and NICOLE SCHERZINGER, has never shied away from saying how she really feels.
After last year’s nicey-nicey line-up resulted in the ITV talent show’s most abysmal ratings to date, it’s about time X Factor got back to being sparky, edgy and, well, more Sharon-y.
And if innocent contestants are feeling the brunt, imagine how much worse things are for OZZY, the hubby in the doghouse . . .
ALL YOU NEED IS POPCORN
IT’S already got plenty of top films but Sky Movies is about to get even better.
The channels will undergo a makeover next month to become Sky Cinema – which will be the exclusive home of Star Wars and other amazing blockbuster franchises including DC Comics and Marvel.
It will launch with the first telly showing of Bond film Spectre on July 8 before Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens airs in August.
Wannabe Jedis will be pleased to hear a pop-up Star Wars channel will show all previous instalments the same month.
The overhaul will also see a movie premiere screened every day, with Sky promising further pop-ups in future for Disney Pixar, Harry Potter and superhero movies.
Prepare to be glued to your sofa for the rest of the summer.
'Bride' of Top Gear 'wedding' stunt, Aurora Mulligan, confirmed to hold a spark for host, Matt LeBlanc
MATT LeBLANC may have had good reason to “crash” a wedding as part of his Top Gear car stunt this week.
I can reveal that the “bride” in the sequence was the show’s assistant producer, Aurora Mulligan – who Matt was spotted getting close to at a hotel last month.
A BBC source confirmed she was in the wedding dress for the scene, in which rally driver KEN BLOCK interrupts the nuptials.
It was filmed the same day Ken sparked outrage by performing donuts around the Cenotaph.
I hope Matt and Aurora’s relationship doesn’t fizzle out like the show’s ratings.
Reality bites: Geordie Shore cast not allowed to film on Balearic Islands, Ibiza and Majorca
IT seems not everyone appreciates the drunken antics of the Geordie Shore cast as much as I do.
Council bosses in San Antonio, Ibiza, refused producers permission to film there this week, telling them the reality show, which features HOLLY HAGAN and CHANTELLE CONNELLY, was not welcome.
It comes after the cast were chucked out of Magaluf in Majorca last week.
I guess they’ll have to try Minorca for the hat-trick.
SOAPBOX
IT’S Bobby Beale’s day of reckoning in tonight’s EASTENDERS as the young killer faces up to the consequences of murdering his sister Lucy.
With dad Ian anxiously watching on, hockey stick hooligan Bobby arrives in court to find out his fate.
Will he return to Walford, or will the justice system see him put away?
More crime and punishment in NEIGHBOURS, where Terese Willis is shocked to learn that Paul Robinson is in hospital following a bust-up at the prison and decides to visit him.
She’s eager to see if he will finally admit his guilt but, unsurprisingly, he turns the tables on her.
I wonder if Terese will ever accept that Paul is innocent?
