STRICTLY star Ranvir Singh has revealed she stormed out of rehearsals and refused to speak to her dance partner Giovanni Pernice after having a "meltdown".

The Good Morning Britain presenter, 43, said the pair are talking again after taking a "time out".

Italian dancer Giovanni clashed with the star after just four days in rehearsals.

"We've had our moments, haven't we Giovanni?" revealed Ranvir on GMB today.

"We had a 20 minute divorce, we needed 20 minutes apart and then it's been plain sailing ever since."

Ranvir's co-star Kate Garraway asked: "Did you storm off, Ranvir?"

She replied: "Well, we had a quiet moment when we needed time to ourselves.

"I have to be honest, I had a total meltdown and Giovanni put me in my place.

"He pointed to his arm, which says 'never give up' and says 'that's just who I am'."

Giovanni replied: "You have never done anything like this before. To listen to someone repeat things for hours, telling you what to do, that is uncomfortable.

"That's my job to tell you what to do. We got better and we achieved what we wanted to achieve.

"Never give up until you achieve what you want."

The couple are set to perform this Saturday in the first live show.

Teasing that Strictly fans will be impressed by Ranvir's dance skills, Giovanni added: "We want to show a completely different side to her becuase people won't expect what's going to happen on Saturday.

"I'm telling you, I've been in rehearsals for a week and I'm quite surprised myself.

"Look out on Saturday because it's going to be quite interesting to see Giovanni in a different way."
