Star Wars actress Daisy Ridley accidentally dyes her hands and face with DIY Tumeric scrub mask
She posted a video on Instagram revealing she was in a spot of bother with her beauty treatment

IT WAS all yellow for Star Wars actress Daisy Ridley when she accidentally dyed her hands and face with a DIY Tumeric scrub mask.
The actress, who has been open about having struggles with bad skin, took to Instagram to show off her mishap.
Posting a short video which saw her with a mustard yellow face and hands, she could be seen showing off her spot of bother.
The 24-year-old captioned the shot: “I scrubbed my face and I am YELLOW!"
"Ahahahahaha. Will have to see if I'm a squeaky clean clear skinned goddess in the morning.”
Posting the footage on Friday she explained: “So I'm having a slight [nightmare] because I Googled ‘at home memories for skin’ and I may have been slightly liberal with the turmeric...”
Her face was covered in a glowing mustard yellow powder, which she showed off to her 2.1 million followers.
Tumeric is known for its anti-inflammatory properties, as well as being considered to help with aging.
Joking, she said she wasn’t filming Minions 2, but was working on Star Wars Episode VIII.
The actress promised her followers she would let them know if the scrub was a “a really bad thing, or a really good thing.”
So far she has not revealed whether it worked, or she was left looking more like one of her alien friends in the Sci-Fi adventure.
Daisy has spoken honestly about her skin and health issues on social media since achieving fame in her role of Rey in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
She has struggled with endometriosis and polycystic ovaries, and the conditions have caused her problems with her complexion.
She posted a photo of herself in May with spot cream on, after revealing a glamorous image at an showbiz party.

Daisy said in the caption: “At 15 I was diagnosed with endometriosis. One laparoscopy, many consultations and 8 years down the line, pain was back (more mild this time!) and my skin was THE WORST.
“I've tried everything: products, antibiotics, more products, more antibiotics and all that did was left my body in a bit of a mess.
"Finally found out I have polycycstic ovaries and that's why it's bad.
“I can safely say feeling so self conscious has left my confidence in tatters. I hate wearing make up but I currently don't want to leave the house without it on.”
She went on to say she had cut down on diary and tried to get rid of sugar in her diet to help with her health.
