ADELE turned the airwaves blue tonight apologising to fans everywhere after telling her Glastonbury crowd "This is the best f***ing moment of my life."

And who could blame her for having a great time as she belted out her favourite hits and delivered enough one liners to make a half hour comedy show.

The 28-year-old looked absolutely fantastic as she debuted a new look with a cropped blonde bob.

And she seemed to pay tribute to London's pearly queen's with her choice of dress.

Adele took to the Pyramid Stage and opened with what else than her second UK number-one single Hello.

But it wasn't just her songs that went down a storm with the twitterverse exploding with delight over her jaw dropping looks.

And it wasn't just her choice of fashion that set tongues wagging - it was her potty mouth that really got people talking.

It seems she really thinks about her fans asking: "Have any of you had to do a p*** down the front yet?"

Then adding "Any of you had to do a "s***?"

The mum-of-one also had to make a quick apology for her antics.

She added: "Sorry the BBC had to do a warning about my potty mouth - bet they didn't have to do that for Muse."

She later went on to jokingly scold one of the people in the audience asking: "Is that p*** in that cup? Well don't throw it at me."

The Sun revealed earlier tonight that Adele was having major nerves before her performance.

And she was having last-minute stage fright ahead of her first ever Glastonbury headline set tonight, according to her manager Jonathan Dickins.

The music boss was overheard backstage at the festival telling friends about the star’s anxiety about taking to the Pyramid Stage later this evening.

Adele's manager Jonathan Dickins was overheard telling a pal: "She's nervous. She hasn't got here yet. I think anyone would be nervous playing in front of that crowd.

"I'm nervous myself. I've got a twinge!"

Adele arrived on site earlier to day joining her partner Simon Konecki who has been enjoying the festival for two days with good pal and ex-Eastenders actor Sid Owen.

Her mum Penny is also camping backstage.

Adele previously ruled out ever performing at Glastonbury due to her fear of the big stage.

She said last year: “I think I have made myself pretty clear on Glastonbury.

“The crowds are too big – I don’t know if I could do it.”

But she did an amazing job tonight as everyone who witnessed it will testify!
