‘I might as well end it’: Olivia threatens to dump Alex after seeing worrying tweets during task
The pretty blonde was left reeling after hearing the outside world's opinion

OLIVIA was left very concerned over the future of her relationship with Alex after reading a series of tweets during the Islanders latest task.
The group were shown a series of tweets and had to insert the names of the people they thought the tweet was referring to – and poor Olivia seemed to get the brunt of it.
One read: “Alex, you didn’t say you were happy with Olivia. You said you had a new bird downstairs.”
While another said: “Olivia is going to get pied the minute she gets out.”
The news went down very badly with the pretty blonde, who struggled to cope with what the outside world was saying about them.
Looking very upset Olivia told Alex - in scenes which will air this evening: “I’d never say that. You said it. It’s just everything I think has been said. To see it written there is what I’ve been thinking all along.”
Alex tried to comfort her, saying: “I’ve already said to the boys I really like you and I’m falling for you as well. I don’t want to see you upset. I don’t want to upset you. People are going to say s*** things.”
Feeling hopeless about her situation, Olivia said: “What is even the point in carrying this on, because I’m not going to be able to handle it. I’m just going to get hurt, I always do and I always will so I might as well end it myself.”
In the Beach Hut, Olivia explained her feelings, saying: “I just feel like every day it’s getting deeper and deeper and we’re getting more feelings for each other. So it scares me because I’m now in that zone of being able to get hurt. On the outside, if a boy goes off with his mates, you don’t hear what he says. A lot of the time it is boy banter but it’s a massive head f***.”

Having spent the rest of the afternoon thinking through her feelings, Olivia sat down with Alex to explain why she’d been so hurt by the tweets she’d heard.
She told the tattooed hunk: “When the tweets first come out, I was annoyed at you because it was about you and about what you said. When I came back here, I was fuming with you. The thing I’ve been struggling with today is I haven’t realised what I’ve got myself into. Not just with you, but with the outside world and being able to cope with it.”
Alex affectionately admitted how strongly he felt for Olivia, telling her: “I’m not going to lie. I didn’t come in here expecting to meet a girl the way I’ve met you. My past two girlfriends have been the complete opposite to you. I wanted to come in here, see what happened and have a change. You’ve been that change. When I saw you upset today, that got me upset and teary as well. You are someone I care about and I don’t want to mug you off.”
Olivia replied: “I overreacted today, I am sorry.”
Reassuring her again, Alex said: “You don’t have to say you’re sorry. What I said upstairs, I shouldn’t have said it. Even if it was boy banter, I do apologise. The thing is, you’ve had bad relationships in the past but I want you to try and forget that and take me for who I am.
"I’m being deadly serious now, no girl could come in now and sway me. I mean that. We’ve had an amazing experience in here, but when we get out we’ll have an even better experience. I don’t want you to handle the real world on your own; I’m going to be there with you alongside you. I promise you that. I care about you.”
