Capital radio host Lisa Snowdon falls for friend of almost 15 years after string of unsuccessful celeb relationships
Lisa and her new beau George have been together just six months, but the pair are already smitten with each other
LISA SNOWDON has hardly been lucky in love, having failed to make things work with ex-boyfriends GEORGE CLOONEY, CSI actor GARY DOURDAN or footballer JAY BOTHROYD.
But she has now decided to take a different approach in the dating game, shunning another celeb in favour of an old pal.
I have learned she has fallen for entrepreneur George Smart, who she has been friends with for almost 15 years after they met during her first telly gig with MTV.
A source close to the former Capital radio host said: “Lisa got really hurt when she split with her ex and she started growing close to George again.
“She has always liked him but things really took off between them at the end of last year.
“They have only been together for just over six months but things have moved quickly.
“They went on holiday to Ibiza together in June and it made her realise how special he is.
“She is smitten.”
In 2014 The Sun on Sunday revealed her ex Adereti Monney had violently attacked her in the street although she stayed with him for another year, only splitting from him last March.

But she has found happiness with George, who is the founder of a creative agency and describes himself as having “over 15 years experience in the entertainment industry.”
I hope he has the experience to deal with her, too.

In a message posted on Facebook, the band said Nick didn’t want to spend long periods away from his family on tour.
