Spice Girls officially reveal their reunion… as a trio with a new name
Geri, Mel B and Emma confirm my exclusive story but Mel C and Posh won't be joining them

IT HAS been the most talked about comeback of all time — ever since I first revealed their plans to re-form last August.
Now the SPICE GIRLS have finally confirmed my exciting exclusive that they will be getting back together — albeit without two founding members.
MEL B, GERI HORNER and EMMA BUNTON officially revealed their return in a video message yesterday on the 20th anniversary of their debut single Wannabe, in which they unveil their new name SPICE GIRLS GEM.
The title is an acronym of the remaining members’ names and separates them from the original group after VICTORIA BECKHAM and MEL C ruled themselves out of the reunion.

In the message on their newly launched site, which starts with a shot of the trio (pictured), they said: “You’ve stood by us for 20 years and we want to say a big thank you.
“We’ve had our ups and downs but you have always been there.
“We want to celebrate and have a party, and when we do, you’re invited.”
They didn’t give much away about what they are planning, but just two days ago I revealed they will be throwing their party at Hyde Park next summer.
After running out of time to organise something for this year, they have agreed to perform a huge London show next July, which would be an undeniable treat for more than 65,000 Spice fans.
The limited capacity means millions will miss out on seeing them live — but the girls will make up for it with new music.
One person who won’t have caught the girls’ video is Posh Spice.
Her and husband DAVID BECKHAM spent their Friday in an Icelandic volcano more than 1,100 miles from their London home.
The couple hiked for 50 minutes to the lip of the Thrihnukagigur volcano — which last erupted more than 4,000 years ago — before descending 400ft to its bottom in a cable car for a private tour.
She could’ve turned her phone off if she didn’t want to hear the news.
Flying to Iceland is a bit drastic.
ROBBIE'S WANNATHREE
THE SPICE GIRLS were always a trio in the eyes of ROBBIE WILLIAMS.
The singer famously had a fling with GERI HORNER but wife AYDA FIELD hinted he may have bedded MEL C and EMMA BUNTON too.
Despite Mel C previously slamming Robbie’s claims he’d slept with most of the band, Ayda said on Loose Women that Robbie “knew” the three very well.
And when asked if she had made the star write down all of the names of the girls he had romped with, Ayda quipped: “There’s not enough paper or pens.”
