The vile user, typing under the account name Denz, wrote: "I hope you lose the baby," in reply to the beauty's message of thanks to her fans for their ongoing support.

Steph, who has claimed her CBB ex Jeremy McConnell is the dad to her unborn tot, blasted out her own response which hinted she had simply shrugged off his horrid comments.

She wrote: "Yano, lately I've had to accept that some people online & in general are down right evil and heartless...I don't let it get to me anymore.

The ex Hollyoaks star, 23, then added: Nasty comments and disgusting behaviour... It just says a LOT more about u than it does me!! no comments for some people!," before popping the hashtag #reported onto the end, hinting she had highlighted his message to Twitter bosses.

The soap babe then wrote #pityu as she rounded off her calm response.

Meanwhile, the brunette's followers were outraged at Denz's post and took to the social media site to speak out on her behalf.

One wrote: "Worst thing I've read on here. Disgusting," while another furious user added: "That is pure disgusting. What the hell is wrong with some people you vile human!! Leave the girl alone!!"

Another urged the website to take action and posted: "Twitter should pull their finger out, it's not just nasty, it's pure evil," while one urged: "Everyone report him to Twitter get the account closed."

Stephanie first revealed she was pregnant earlier this year on a message on her Instagram account.

She claims hunky Dubliner Jez is the father, but he has denied the suggestion, even saying he will take a DNA test when the baby is born.

After revealing she was expecting for the first time, the CBB babe has faced a barrage of online abuse from trolls suggesting her pregnancy was 'fake'.

This week she silenced them by uploading selfies showing her newly-emerging baby bump as well as gracing the cover of a magazine.

Posing proudly on the front of the latest issue of OK! Magazine, the dark-haired stunner could be seen smiling with one hand protectively on her tum.

The former Hollyoaks actress, who first revealed that she was expecting back in May, uploaded a picture of the cover on Twitter.
