Dan Osborne reveals he’s bought a guard dog for Jacqueline Jossa and fears family could be targeted in their £1.2m home

DAN Osborne has bought a security dog to protect his wife Jacqueline Jossa and their young family at their new £1.2million Essex home.

The Sun reported earlier this year that former TOWIE star, 29, has bought the pooch to put his mind at ease when actress Jacqueline, 28, is left on her own.

Dan has now said they've decided to get a guard dog after moving into a bigger property and starting renovations.

"We've got two little tiny dogs, they're lovely and great for the kids, but then we're getting a third dog, which is a trained protection dog, a trained family protection dog," he told the .

The couple have two daughters Ella, six, and Mia, two, as well as Dan's son from a previous relationship Teddy, seven.

The dad-of-three feels he's in need of greater protection at his new property after years of trolling online and believes social media should introduce identity verification to improve security.

He said: "Trolling… I reckon in this industry I've had it the maximum level you can get.

"I've had my fair share of it."

Meanwhile, moving into a six-bedroom house may have given the impression they hope to have more children, but Dan insists he and Jacqueline will not be adding to their family any time soon.

He said: "If we were to add to it… I don't know, we'll have to see how we feel but for now, we're happy with how it is."

Dan and Jacqueline married in 2017 and have their two daughters together, while son Teddy is from a previous relationship.

Earlier this week, Jacqueline admitted the move and renovations had left her feeling stressed.

One follower asked during an Instagram Q&A: "How are you feeling about the house renovations? Are you happy how it’s going?"

Jacqueline replied: “I feel like it’s the most stressed I’ve felt in a long time. It’s so much going on all at once. A lot of ££ and a lot of things to go wrong.

“But it’s also a challenge. It’s been really fun. I’m proud of our family and I think we deserve it.

"We have dogs as well, we have three kids, and two dogs and another dog on the way!"
