Ex-Towie star Maria Fowler blasts Georgia Harrison after Love Islander claimed she lost 5kg in just one week

A WAR of words has broken out between ex TOWIE star Maria Fowler and Love Island's Georgia Harrison over the latter's weight claims.
Maria, 34, slammed Georgia "irresponsible" for saying she lost 5kg in a week.
In a now-deleted Instagram video Georgia uploaded on Friday where she was showing off her slim figure in underwear as she told fans how she had dropped the pounds with the help of electrolyte water.
But Maria was having none of it and said boasting about quick weight loss could be detrimental to fans.
Writing underneath Georgia's post, Maria commented: "Sorry, you seem like a lovely girl but this is so irresponsible for your young following.
"Eating disorders are rife and social media only adds to that pressure. I know you probably don't realise this as I'm sure you wouldn't have done it intentionally."
In Georgia's original post she had told her fans: "I lost 5 Kilo's in one week! I've always been someone who doesn't mind fluctuating in weight and that's because I know for a fact I have the mindset to burn it off quickly and efficiently.
"Using @wowhydrate drinks as a great way of assisting my training I lost 5k in a week and i still snuck in a cheeky pasta here and there!2
Georgia, who filmed herself to her Instagram stories flying to LA overnight revealed she wanted to be in "good shape" for the trip, adding she hoped her video would inspire her fans to believe in themselves and their bodies to "shed the pounds".
After explaining how she liked to film her progress to help her reach her goals, she added: "My @wowhydrate drinks were absolutely needed alongside a calorie deficit. Also just to make it clear i don't think i'm fat i'm anyway at the start both are normal healthy weights but for LA i wanted to be really toned and healthy."
Many fans joined Maria in their disapprovl and some even claimed they would be unfollowing the young reality star.
But Maria waded back in again replying to a fan that people should make allowances given Georgia's young age: "I wouldn't blame her, I just don't think she knows how damaging it is. We all make mistakes and learn from them. I wouldn't have thought that it was damaging when I was younger either x."
Georgia quickly deleted her post and explained her meaning behind it on her Instagram Story.
"Took down my last post because people are just such keyboard warriors that it gave me anxiety," she wrote.
"But 1 I wasn't paid to promote anything in that post I was just proud of my personal results and 2 I don't think weight loss should be seen as a negative if done in a healthy way with exercise and healthy food. Should people not be allowed to loose weight?"
She continued in another tirade: "Omg reading my dms and also realised I put 5kg but I meant LB. But still I'm sure people will still have a problem with that, was in flight so didn't read it before."
She also hit back at cruel trolls who compared her to the late Nikki Grahame who died this month after a lifelong battle with an eating disorder.
"The amount of people saying I have an eating disorder in that post is insane and trying to compare me to Nikki who is a friend of mine.
"Really sad what happened to her... to put that on me because I had a week of eating and training is rude and offensive and people need to be more careful of what they write to be honest."

She then added a jokey extra post from the plane saying: "The hostess just came over and said if it helps I'll tell them about that extra bread roll you ordered. I'm cracking up."
Maria and Georgia both starred briefly on The Only Way Is Essex but were featured at different times.
