DRAKE’s bid to equal compatriot BRYAN ADAMS’ record-breaking 16-week stay at No1 has been scuppered – by another Canadian.
JUSTIN BIEBER’s latest single with MAJOR LAZER and MØ called Cold Water is outselling his smash hit One Dance three to one in the midweeks.
This means it will take a huge shift in sales to usurp 1991 power ballad (Everything I Do) I Do It For You as the UK’s longest-reigning No1 single.
Indeed, it’s not only Justin who has sent Drake tumbling down the charts.
One Dance has fallen to No5, with JONAS BLUE’s Perfect Strangers, CHAINSMOKERS’ Don’t Let Me Down and CALUM SCOTT’s Dancing On My Own occupying the top four.
Still, 15 weeks isn’t half bad.

After weeks of shooting blockbuster Dunkirk abroad under the direction of Christopher Nolan, the mere sighting of the star covered in dirt and swigging beer from an old steam train in Swanage saw his old ONE DIRECTION army take over the Dorset town.
