Simone Biles is not able to see husband Jonathan Owens as much as she would like — a fact she hinted at on social media.
The 28-year-old put up a post in which she insisted she was "glad" to have seen the NFL star before flying away in April 2025.
She said: "Glad I got to see you for a short bit before jetting off to the airport.
"So incredibly grateful for you ilysfm."
The initialism "ilysfm" stands for "I love you so f***ing much”.
Simone flew to Madrid to attend the prestigious Laureus Awards.
She also treated herself to some Japanese food and a visit to the Santiago Bernabeu.
The stadium is home to LaLiga giants Real Madrid, who took on Athletic Bilbao on April 20.

Simone watched the match, which saw Federico Valverde score a 93rd-minute winning goal, and shared a video of the iconic stadium along with the caption "my first soccer match".
And after receiving her award, the Team USA icon said: "I'm so happy to be here in Madrid and to receive my fourth Laureus World Sportswoman of the Year award.

Born on July 22, 1995, Jonathan Owens is an American NFL player from St. Louis, Missouri.
During the league's 2018 draft, he was selected by the Arizona Cardinals.
On August 31, 2019, the Cardinals waived him after he spent the entire previous season on injury reserve.
