Actor looks almost giddy with happiness as they dine out in Santa Monica
TOM Hiddleston couldn’t wipe the grin off his face as he and girlfriend Taylor Swift dined out last night.
The actor, 35, kept a his hand firmly clutched into hers and looked almost giddy with happiness as they made their way inside a restaurant in Santa Monica last night.
Tom beamed from ear to ear as he led 26-year-old Taylor – who looked just as happy as him – inside the eatery for their date night.
He looked smart casual in grey jeans, grey boots and a polka dot grey shirt while she showed off her enviable figure in a high-waited velvet mini skirt and matching crop top.
And their grins were still there when they left a few hours later and looked like they’d got the giggles as they got into his car before driving away.
Despite the controversy surrounding their whirlwind romance, their affection for each other seems to go from strength to strength since they went public last month.
And it’s not just his love life making Tom happy as his career continues to thrive too.
He’s had a busy few weeks promoting his new film Kong: Skull Island as well as filming in Australia where he has reprised his Marvel role as Loki for Thor: Ragnarok.
This week he attended Comic Con in San Diego and was forced to address his relationship and the international attention surrounding their romance.
He said: “Everything you do you have to make sure you truly believe in it and as long as you know that, it doesn't matter what anyone else says about it because the nature of being a public figure is that everyone will have an opinion about anything you do, and as long as you know why you've done something and you've committed to it with authenticity then you're OK.”

Tom has been nominated for an Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries or a Movie for his role in the BBC/AMC thriller The Night Manager, which he said he was “thrilled” about.
The show has earned a whopping 12 nominations in total, including Supporting Actress for Olivia Colman and Supporting Actor for Hugh Laurie.
Speaking to People, Tom said: "I'm so proud of The Night Manager and the work everybody did in it and to see it nominated for 12 [Emmys].
“To see Hugh Laurie nominated and Olivia Colman and [director] Susanne Bier, it's really, really thrilling.
"You never know when you make something when it is going to catch fire and people will receive it with the same passion in which it was made and it felt like that, so it's really exciting.”
