James Nesbitt misses new Cold Feet season premiere due to work commitments
The actor, who stars as Adam Williams, was unable to join his cast mates for the screening

JAMES Nesbitt had to regrettably miss today's screening of the first episode of the new Cold Feet series due to work commitments.
As the cast and national press gathered in London for the premiere, the Northern Irish star was noticeably absent.
A publicist for the show said James was away filming and had been unable to take time to attend the junket.
James, 51, stars as Adam Williams in the show, which is returning for a brand new series in the autumn, set 13 years after the last one.
Speaking at today's screening, Hermione Norris, who stars as Karen Marsden, said she initially was a bit unsure whether to revive the show.
She said: "It was so of it's time and so loved, I felt that it was maybe best left because I wouldn't want to do anything that might have undone that.
"But writer Mike Bullen said to me he thought it would be really interesting to revisits these characters in this chapter of their lives."
Fay Ripley, who plays Jenny Gifford, added: "I thought it might be really hard to be perfectly honest, but within a minute it was the same, it was like stepping back in time.
Plus we have a great shorthand when we work together all of us, which was incredibly handy because I didn't have to do all of the polite s***!" (laughs) so it was great."
Thomson, who stars as Jenny's husband Pete, said he hoped the return of the show would not just excite former fans of the show, but attract new ones too.
He said: "It was popular, so great so I saw it as a challenge to do the same again but better."

Adding to Sun Online after the screening, he said: "I hope that those who watched it first time around are now mums and dads and will be getting their kids to watch the new series with them - and possible re-runs of the earlier ones.
"I think word of mouth helps generate an interest, look at Breaking Bad for example. So if we can add to the fanbase, that would be great."
