TROUBLE IN PARADISE?

Celebrity Big Brother couple Marnie and Lewis refuse to speak to each other after argument over a photo of his ex-girlfriend

THE honeymoon is well and truly over between Lewis Bloor and Marnie Simpson on Celebrity Big Brother - after the pair ended up sleeping in separate beds after an argument over the Towie hunk's ex-girlfriend.

On last night's live show on 5*, there was a cold atmosphere in the Big Brother house as the reality show couple fell out after Lewis supposedly woke up Marnie to show her a picture of his ex-girlfriend on her eyelash box.

The events come hot on the heels of a passionate shower scene on Monday night's highlights show, which saw Marnie and Lewis sending fans into meltdown after they went full-frontal on screen.

Marnie later gushed about their alone time in the diary room and described it as "the most romantic shower of her life".

She said: "I’ve never had a boy treat me how he treats me! I feel so lucky. He is just perfect. I don’t ever want to leave this house!”

But it appears her happiness was to be short-lived, and less than 24 hours later the pair weren't even on speaking terms and ended up sleeping in separate beds for the first time since their romance started ten days ago.

The pair separately vented their frustrations to voices of reason Stephen Bear and Chloe Khan, who also romped in a toilet at the end of last night's episode.

Lewis said: "I feel like the bubble we've had has just burst.

"She's obviously sitting there knowing how awkward I feel."

Bear offered to calm him and make him a sandwich, but Lewis said he would "rather punch a tree".

As they cross paths in the kitchen, the pair are forced to talk - but the show cut to commercial before we could see what was said.

Later on in the bathroom, as the pair got ready for bed, Bear confided in Chloe and said: "You don't wake someone up to do that!

"For me, I'm on Marnie's side. Don't repeat that!"

Bear, who is Lewis' biggest ally in the house, then told Chloe: "I think, between us, I think he's lying to her.

"You don't wake someone up to say 'babe oh look at this'.

"Why is he going over there to make a big thing about it? Bear in mind she hadn't even acknowledged it."

Chloe agreed and said he probably brought in the photo himself and later mocked the pair by recreating the scene.

Saira Khan filled in Sam Fox on the gossip from the day, but didn't believe her story as they weren't allowed photographs in the house.

The pair then speculated that the argument was a bid to keep Lewis from eviction on tonight's show and Saira added: "She thinks I was born yesterday.

"The other couple [Bear and Chloe] have obviously gone to quite extremes to show what they're prepared to do to stay in.

"So she's gone really weird and gone 'I think that's it between me and him and I'm not really sure whats going on'."

Lewis is currently the favourite to be booted from the show tonight as he goes up against Saira, Bear and Heavy D.

Watch the drama unfold on Celebrity Big Brother, weekdays on Channel 5.
