Mel C threatens to sue Emma Mel B and Geri over reunion – as they can’t be ‘Spice Girls’ without her
A source close to the star said Mel C believes there is no Spice Girls without her

THEIR last comeback saw them promise their friendship would never end — but the latest SPICE GIRLS reunion is set to turn very nasty.
I can reveal MEL C has threatened legal action against bandmates MEL B, GERI HORNER and EMMA BUNTON, who are re-forming the world’s biggest ever girl group for a 21st anniversary spectacular.
The bombshell news comes after Sporty Spice joined VICTORIA BECKHAM in refusing to re-join the Wannabe hit makers.
A source close to Mel C revealed: “Mel has told the other girls she is consulting lawyers about whether the reunion can go ahead without her.

"She believes she brought music credibility to the group and there is no Spice Girls without her. The other girls are in regular text and phone contact with her.
“There was talk of using the nickname GEM but they’ve decided against that because the strength is through the Spice brand.”
I broke the news last year that the Spice Girls were plotting a reunion to celebrate their anniversary but without Posh, who does not want to be involved.
Then I revealed the sad news in April that four had become three after Mel C pulled out of the plans too. It left the Spice comeback hanging by a thread, with just Geri, Emma and Mel B left to carry on the mantle.
But last month I told how the trio are powering on and have booked a date at Hyde Park for a massive concert next July.
All was going swimmingly — until now.
Fortunately, I’m told Geri, Emma and Mel B are carrying on with their idea.
My source said: “The girls are pressing ahead with their reunion plans as they were before.” Mel B recently confirmed herself that the Spice Girls brand is alive and well.
She said on US TV: “We are always going to be Spice Girls. We are definitely going to be doing some concerts.”
Luckily, Mel C is the only one causing them a headache.
Despite her point-blank refusal to take part in the reunion, Posh has given her blessing for the rest of the girls to go ahead.
The source added: “Victoria has told the girls to go for it.
“She’s been really lovely and supportive, which has been a relief to them.”
Geri, Emma and Mel B’s reunion plans are well under way.
They have a top manager on board in Joyce Smith, the lawyer behind the historic ROLLING STONES gig in Cuba this year, and have been working in the studio on new music.
I have already heard a leaked demo of their first track Song For Her, and am so excited for what’s to come.
Let’s hope there’s a happy ending.
Jahmene's on U.P
IT’S been a long time coming, but JAHMENE DOUGLAS is finally back.
I’m thrilled to reveal his new album will be out next month, with a tongue-twister title to boot.
Unfathomable Phantasmagoria – or U.P for short – is Jahmene’s attempt to describe the struggles he has faced in life.
The 2012 X Factor runner-up said: “These songs have been stirring in my heart ever since I was young so I’m grateful I can now share them.”
Jahmene will be joining me for a chat in a few weeks – stay tuned to facebook.com/danwootton.
A-list social media row
TWO of Hollywood’s toughest guys are at all-out war. But rather than letting their fists do the talking, DWAYNE “THE ROCK” JOHNSON and VIN DIESEL are posting cryptic online taunts.
As I told you on Wednesday, The Rock took to Facebook to call unnamed Fast And Furious 8 male co-stars unprofessional, “chicken s**t” and “candy a**es”. The post was believed to be directed at Vin.
Later Vin responded: “Give me a second and I will tell you everything. Everything.”
US sources yesterday backed the Rock, saying Vin refused to start work on the film before 10am, criticised his co-stars and often turned up late.
Shooting has finished – but something tells me this feud is far from over. It’s definitely the pen (or the tweet) that’s mightier than the sword with these two.
Keane frontman's drug struggle
FORMER KEANE frontman TOM CHAPLIN has revealed that his cocaine addiction returned – and almost killed him last year.
The band’s decision to split in 2013, which I was sad to announce, was what hit Tom hard.
On the night in early 2015 when he almost died, he said: “I had been on a massive bender for days. I was thinking, I’m going to keel over and that’s it.”
Tom became a dad in 2014 but it didn’t help.
He added: “My wife said, ‘I want to tell you that I love you because I don’t know if I will get a chance again’.”
Thankfully he’s now back on the straight and narrow and has penned his debut solo album, The Wave, about his addiction.
Zayn's a wanna-be fashion icon
ZAYN MALIK is sucking up to the fashion elite. In a cringeworthy interview he endorsed his new shoe line with Italian designer GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI.
He said: “Style is not being afraid to be bold or to say what it is you have to say. Giuseppe does that with his collection – and I try to do that with my music.” I won’t be buying them, Zayn.
